Security Reports

TOTP activity appears on the following Security Reports:

  • Failed Logon Attempts

  • User Profile Changes

    • MFA Device Added: name of the device added

    • MFA Device Deleted: name of the device deleted

    • MFA Device Set to Default: name of the device set to default

 Page Description

Authentication Code entered is not valid.

Authentication Code pop-up window on the Logon page and the MFA Devices pop-up window or tab.

Entered an invalid Authentication Code.

Authentication Code has expired.

Authentication Code pop-up window on the Logon page and the MFA Devices pop-up window or tab.

 Entered an expired authentication code.

Authentication Code is required.

Authentication Code pop-up window on the Logon page and the MFA Devices pop-up window or tab.

Selected the Validate button or OK button without entering an Authentication Code.

Device already set as Default.

MFA Devices pop-up window and tab.

 Selected a device that is already the default and selected the Default button. The system leaves the default unchanged.

Device name already exists. Please try with a different device name.

MFA Devices pop-up window and tab.

Tried to add a device using a name already registered.

Device Name Registration is required before Authentication Code entry.

MFA Devices pop-up window and tab.

Entered an Authentication Code without registering the device name.
Device name required.

MFA Devices pop-up window and tab.

 Selected the Register button without entering a Device Name.

E-mail Device cannot be deleted.

Tried to delete E-mail from the MFA Devices list.

Initial user logon is required prior to MFA Device registration.

User Profile > User Profile - List > User Profile - Detail > MFA Devices tab.

Admin user added a Device Name and selected Register for a user that has not completed initial log into Loancierge.

Maintenance Request Complete

User Profile > User Profile - List > User Profile - Detail > MFA Devices tab. Message appears in the lower left-hand corner of the page.

Completed one of the following actions:

  • Added a device

  • Deleted a device

  • Changed a default device

Note: A notification appears at the bottom of the tab to confirm that the action completed successfully. This notification only appears on the MFA Device tab under User Profile. Similar notifications include:

  • Request Complete

  • Request Failed

  • Maintenance Request Failed

Maximum number of 5 device names has been reached for this User ID.

Tried to register a device and you have five devices already registered.

MFA Device Registration Complete.

Successfully registered your device.

No MFA Devices found for user.

Logon page.

 Selected the Logon using MFA Device link on the Confirmation Code pop-up window and you have no registered devices.

Please correct the following errors:

Your logon information is invalid. Reenter your information and try again. Passwords are case sensitive. Check to make sure your Caps Lock is not turned on. Contact your administrator if you need to have your password reset.

Logon page

You entered an incorrect username or password in the Logon page.

User MFA account is temporarily locked. Contact your administrator.

Confirmation Code pop-up window or Authentication Code pop-up window.

Entered an incorrect Confirmation Code or Authentication Code and PING ID locked the user. The lockout happens after a defined number of attempts; the lock lasts about 30 minutes. The system automatically lifts the lock after that period.

User Status must be Active to add MFA Devices

User Profile > User Profile - List > User Profile - Details MFA Device tab.

Admin user added a Device Name and selected Register for an inactive or suspended user account. The admin user must navigate to User Profile - Details and set the status to Active.
